Zambian gospel hip-hop sensation, Tim’s latest album ‘Sonder’ has reached almost 1.5 million streams combined on Boomplay and Spotify.
The critically acclaimed project which was released two weeks ago boasts an array of high profile artistes, both gospel and secular, who made guest appearances including Pompi, Chef 187, Esther Chungu and Izrael among others.
Tim, whose real name is Timbwama Chisenga, formerly known as Thugga took to his social media to announce the milestone.
The rapper decided not to take credit for the efforts but rather opted to thank God.
“Thank you all so much for 1 million Boomplay streams and almost 400,000 Spotify streams in exactly 14 days. Please share this project with whoever you can, the testimonies I’m receiving and what it’s doing for people is beyond me and my human talents/abilities, it’s all God. The Holy Spirit is moving. This is revival!

Fellow gospel artiste Mutamula Mwale was among people who congratulated the rapper.
“Tim, you deserve all the success coming your way. It’s a fantastic project!”
R & B artiste Roberto also congratulated the former Zone Fam member.
Tim took a ten year hiatus before releasing a full length project.
His last project prior to the current one was an EP entitled ‘Hypnosis’ which was released in 2013 under his old moniker Thugga, when he was still a quarter of popular hip-hop collective Zone Fam.
