Former Socialist Party, Ndola District Chairman, Canon George Chisulo, has reportedly joined the Citizen First (CF) party, declaring that the party will assume leadership in 2026.
Chisulo, who announced his move in Ndola on Friday, brings extensive political experience, having previously served as Patriotic Front Ndola District Chairman and District Commissioner.
CF Chairperson for Mobilisation, Henry Chilombo, expressed confidence in Chisulo’s ability to strengthen the party.
“Join President Harry Kalaba in liberating Zambia from the current failed leadership,” Chilombo urged, emphasizing CF’s mission for transformative governance.
Meanwhile, in Lusaka on Thursday, two senior CF members defected to the ruling United Party for National Development (UPND).
