F.C MUZA signs Equatorial Guinea defender, Boho, promotes three from youth team

Maestro United Zambia Football Club (FC MUZA) has officially signed Equatorial Guinea defender, Javier Mum Boho, boosting their squad with the 23-year-old talent from Cano Sport Academy, a topflight club in Equatorial Guinea.

In addition to the new international acquisition, F.C MUZA promoted three players from its developmental side, Young MUZA, currently competing in FAZ Division One Southern Province.

The promoted players included goalkeeper David Minganja, defender Given Kambikambi, and striker Godfrey Chinga.

The club also recalled midfielder, Christopher Nakalinda, from Police College to further strengthen the team.

During the unveiling ceremony held on Sunday in Lusaka, Club president, Keith Mweemba expressed confidence in the new additions, particularly highlighting Javier’s versatility.

“We would like to welcome Mum Boho Javier to F.C MUZA. He is a very good utility player, and we are confident that he will deliver,” Mweemba stated.

He also reassured supporters that F.C MUZA remains committed to developing young players from its youth system into world-class stars, promising an entertaining and improved season.

Club Chief Executive Officer, Joel Kabika, echoed this sentiment, expressing his satisfaction with the signing of Javier and acknowledging the continued support of the club president.

Javier, in turn, thanked the club’s management for the opportunity to showcase his talent, vowing to contribute his best efforts to help the club achieve its goals for the season.
