Dj Easy Umu Zambia claims Zambian award winning artiste, Yo Maps Yo, can never go international.
The popular Dj took to social media saying the artiste has no chance of going global due to certain copy right issues on his latest album, ‘Try Again.’

“How can they go international when 24 tracks album produced, 12 songs are sampled without clearance from the owners, our artiste needs to be more creative and come up with their own sound, it’s easier to identify music from Tanzania and Uganda,” Dj Easy said.
Other music lovers have, however, backed the artiste by saying he already has broken borders by performing in Australia Perth mid last year, as well as a private gig in Germany early this year.
Some others have also criticised Zambian artistes for trying to copy a certain style of music genre popular in other countries, rather than creating their own.
One thing to note though is that creative minds always develope when they are inspired by what other neighboring nations are doing regarding music.
