Copper Queens defender, Lushomo Mweemba, has reportedly signed a one-and-a-half-year deal with 16-time Kazakhstani Champions, BIIK Kazygurt.
Mweemba heads to the Shymkent-based club where she would team up with countrymates defender, Martha Tembo, and midfielder, Ireen Lungu.

According the the Football Association of Zambia (FAZ) Facebook page, she leaves Green Buffaloes and is expected to be roped in the BIIK squad that is preparing for the Kazakhstani Women’s Cup which kicks off on 1 May, 2024.
BIIK’s first match will be against Okzhetpes before entertaining Aktobe two days later.
They would then play against national teammate, Catherine Musonda’s former team Tomiris-Turan on 5 May before playing their final fixture against Ordabasy on 9 May.
BIIK had proved to be a pathway for many Copper Queens players with the likes of Racheal Kundananji, Grace Chanda, Prisca Chilufya and Hellen Chanda all having featured for the 11-time Kazakhstani Cup champions.
