Joining Banda in the best 11 are Malawian striker Temwa Chawinga of Kansas City Current and Mallory Swanson of Chicago Red Stars.

The midfield trio in the 4-3-3 setup includes Lo’eau LaBonta of Kansas City, Rose Lavelle of Gotham FC, and Croix Bethune of Washington Spirit.

Kansas City’s Elizabeth Ball and Izzy Rodriguez, along with Casey Krueger of Washington Spirit and 2023 Rookie of the Year Jenna Nighswonger, form the back four.

Banda’s teammate, Orlando Pride goalkeeper Anna Moorhouse, was also selected.

The England international was instrumental in keeping her team unbeaten, conceding only one goal and making 20 saves in the process.

The National Women’s Soccer League is currently on recess and will resume after the 2024 Paris Olympics.

The NWSL Best 11 of the Month, powered by Amazon Prime, is selected each month of the regular season by the NWSL Media Association.
