Chipolopolo midfielder, Kangwa, to star against Man City in Champions League with Red Star mates

Chipolopolo midfielder, Kings Kangwa, and his Serbian side Red Star Belgrade will tonight square off against UEFA Champions League holders Manchester City in a Group G encounter.

Kangwa who is a regular for Red Star Belgrade is expected to start the match at the Etihad Stadium in Manchester slated to kick off at 21 hours Zambian time.

Red Star Belgrade would attempt to stop the English champions, a feat no team has been able to achieve so far this season.

Man City who inflicted a three-one defeat on West Ham United just three days ago, have won all their five games of the season so far.

To the contrary, Red Star lost two-one to Čukarički in the Serbian SuperLiga.

Kangwa posted a picture on Facebook of him having a feel of the turf at the Etihad Stadium.

The Zambian international won a league and cup double last season but Man City went a step further by scooping the treble.

Kangwa would also face compatriot Miguel Chaiwa who plays for Swiss club Young Boys as his team is also in Group G of them competition.

Turkish side Galatasaray complete the full list of teams that are in Group G.
