Chimwemwe Member of Parliament, Allen Banda, has claimed that 28 projects have so far been implemented in his area under the Constituency Development Fund (CDF).

Banda named some of the projects as construction of a market shelter, steel tank for water at Chimwemwe Market, and construction of a footbridge in Chimwemwe.

Other projects highlighted in an interview with Zambia Monitor on Sunday were construction of classroom block, and procurement of school desks at Kampemba Primary School.

Banda said his constituency would use CDF to put up quality infrastructure that would help to improve service delivery in the education, health and other sectors of the economy that would ultimately improve people’s lives.

“In my small and humble way, I will continue to work hard to deliver my campaign promises to the people of Chimwemwe. I’m so grateful for the support I have continued to receive from the WDC, councillors, CDF committees and other stakeholders.

“As a constituency, we will continue to use the CDF to put up quality infrastructure that will help to improve service delivery in the education, health and other sectors of the economy that will ultimately improve people’s lives,” Banda said.
