Chief Kopa calls on UPND’s Ngosa to champion community development

Chief Kopa of Chitwemambo Mwanzabana Buzembe Mukulu has called upon Richard Ngosa, the newly elected member of parliament for the United Party for National Development (UPND) in his chiefdom, to prioritise community development initiatives.

In a statement issued in Lusaka on Sunday, Chief Kopa emphasized the need for Ngosa to deliver essential resources and support for the Chinama and Kanchibiya areas, reflecting the electorate’s trust and high expectations.

Chief Kopa also urged peace among his people following the elections, stating, “We may have differed in our candidate preferences, but we must unite under the leadership of the elected representative.”

He commended the residents of Chinama for their exemplary conduct throughout the election process.

“The elections were incident-free and conducted in a mature manner by all political parties and participants of all ages,” he added.
