In display of muscular prowess, Nelson Chabota has dominated the body building championship, successfully defending his title as the Zed Nationals Bodybuilding champion for the third consecutive year.
This solidifies Chabota’s position as the 2024 Mr. Zambia Bodybuilding champion, fending off strong competition from William “The Machine” Sichone, the current title-holder of the Fitness Physiques Africa – UK Qualifier 2025, who claimed the second position from Matero Gymnasium.
A representative of Kabwata Body Building and Fitness Gym, Chabota first made headlines in 2022 by dethroning 11-time champion Sylvester Mwila.
His ascension to the top of the bodybuilding hierarchy has been nothing short of phenomenal, boasting an impressive record that includes three Mr. Kabwata Champion titles and a bronze medal at the prestigious Arnold Classic Africa, held in South Africa.
His chiselled frame, reportedly forged through a relentless training regimen, stringent dietary discipline, and unyielding mental toughness, stood as a resounding testament to his unwavering commitment, passion, and meticulous approach to his craft.
“I’m thrilled to have defended my title for the third time,” Chabota said in a post-competition interview.
“It’s a testament to the hard work and dedication of my team, and I’m grateful for the support of my family, friends, and fans.”
Having mastered the trifecta of physical conditioning – rigorous training, precise nutrition, and unshakeable mental fortitude – Chabota shows no signs of slowing down as he continues to redefine the boundaries of human physical excellence.
With his sights set on international competitions, Chabota is poised to take the global bodybuilding stage by storm, proudly representing Zambia and showcasing the country’s burgeoning talent in the sport.
