Copper Queens player, Grace Chanda, has been ruled out of the FIFA Womens World Cup due to an undisclosed illness.
Zambia Women’s National Team Doctor, Faith Chibeza disclosed this via an official media platform for the Football Association of Zambia (FAZ) Friday.

Chibeza said all the players were in good health except for the two, which she named as Grace Chanda and Hazel Nali.
She said the Copper Queens were expected to meet Japan Saturday for the opener at the FIFA Women’s World Cup.
“Grace Chanda who has taken ill, unfortunately her illness has taken her out of the tournament so we have done everything we can to help her. She is receiving all the attention and the help that she needs. She will get well as time goes by,” Chibeza said.
She said Comfort Selemani has since been selected as a replacement for Grace Chanda.
