Three Zambians have died in a road traffic accident in Palapye, Botswana.
Julia Malunga, the First Secretary for Press at the Zambian Mission in Botswana says the accident occurred on Sunday, April 16, 2023 when the Toyota Runx collided head on with a Toyota Camry.
Malunga in a statement issued in Lusaka on Wednesday said the deceased have been identified as Bruce Kapungwe 32, Malama Chipase 43 and Paul Mwila 46.
She said the trio were employees of Makoro Brick and Tile in Palapye.

“The two Mostwanas that were in the Toyota Camry are battling for their lives,” Malunga said.
She said the next of kin have since been notified and the bodies have been deposited in Palapye Primary Hospital Mortuary awaiting repatriation to Zambia.
