In a significant match atop the Premier League standings, Liverpool, led by Jurgen Klopp, suffered a defeat against Mikel Arteta’s Arsenal at the Emirates Stadium.

Arsenal secured a deserved victory, benefiting from a defensive error involving Virgil van Dijk and Alisson, which allowed Gabriel Martinelli to score and regain the lead.

This outcome added excitement to the Premier League title race, as Arsenal’s win narrowed the gap to two points between them and the lackluster leaders, Liverpool.

The defending champions stand 3rd place with 46 points having played 21 games only.

Meanwhile, Chelsea suffered their second defeat in a week, falling 4-2 to Wolves at Stamford Bridge.

This loss left Chelsea in 10th place with 31 points from 22 matches.

Despite their recent struggles, Manchester United climbed to sixth place after defeating West Ham United, extending their unbeaten streak to five games.

Goals from Alejandro and Rasmus Hojlund secured a dominant victory, propelling Manchester United above West Ham and into the top six.
