Mufulira Wanderers bolster squad with four new signings

Mufulira Wanderers Football Club has confirmed the signing of four new players during the recently closed January transfer window.

Joseph Mumbi rejoined the club from Trident FC on a short-term permanent contract.

Cameroonian left-back Lionel Bong signed a one-year, six-month permanent deal from Power Dynamos.

Lucky Sykanika, an attacking midfielder formerly of Mutondo Stars, also joined the club on a one-year, six-month contract.

Meanwhile, Gilbert Tetani, a prolific attacking midfielder, arrived from Trident FC on a one-year, six-month permanent deal.

Announcing the signings, Club CEO Clement Nyirenda and acting Club Administrator Dokiso Nyeirenda welcomed the four players, expressing confidence that their arrival would enhance squad competition and strengthen the team’s performance.

Nyirenda emphasized that the new signings would play a key role in driving Abena Milambo forward as they prepare for the second half of the season.
