The alleged theft occurred on January 5, 2024, when the pair, acting with unknown accomplices, reportedly stole the money from Akpan.

The case was scheduled for hearing before Magistrate Kawama Mwamfuli but was adjourned as Shula and his sureties failed to appear in court.

Magistrate Mwamfuli extended Sampa’s bond and adjourned the case to Wednesday for further proceedings.
