The Zambia Tennis Association (ZTA) has made a historic return to the prestigious Southern Zone CAT/ITF Under 14 and Under 16 boys and girls Junior Tournament, sending a team of 11 players to compete in Windhoek, Namibia.
This marked Zambia’s first participation in CAT/ITF events in over 11 years, a significant achievement for the nation’s tennis community under the leadership of the Lighton Musonda-led ZTA executive.
The Zambian team consists of promising young athletes who have undergone intensive training in preparation for the tournament.
The players would compete across four categories: boys and girls 14 and under, and boys and girls 16 and under.
