United States-based entrepreneur, Beatrice Mwansa, has issued a three-day ultimatum to Zambian singer Nyembezi Nkhata, popularly known as Vicky Malo, to pay K1 million in damages for alleged defamation.
In a demand letter from Mwansa’s lawyers, Chombo and Partners, the singer is accused of posting defamatory videos and statements on Facebook, which reportedly damaged Mwansa’s reputation.

The posts, which garnered over 41,000 views, allegedly included vulgar language and false claims about Mwansa’s personal life and business.
Mwansa is demanding a public apology from Malo and the immediate removal of the posts. Additionally, she is seeking K1 million in damages for the alleged harm caused to her brand.
The demand letter warns that legal action will be taken if Malo fails to comply within three working days.
