The Zambia Police have launched an investigation into obscene videos circulating on social media allegedly involving Chellah Tukuta, the former Presidential Photographer for President Hakainde Hichilema.
The videos and images have sparked public concern, with many questioning Tukuta’s behaviour and mental state.
Police Spokesperson, Rae Hamoonga, issued a statement on Friday, affirming that the police take such matters seriously and are committed to thoroughly investigating the issue.
“The Police are dedicated to establishing the facts and ensuring that appropriate action is taken,” Hamoonga said.

He also urged the public to remain calm and allow the police to carry out an impartial investigation.
Hamoonga warned that speculative commentary or the spread of unverified information could impede the investigation and disrupt the pursuit of justice.
The police have pledged to keep the public updated as the investigation progresses.
