Zambian artiste, Sista D, whose real name is Dapusa Zulu, has expressed embarrassment after being stopped and searched by armed Drug Enforcement Commission (DEC) officers while on her way to the Burning Spear event at Mika Convention Center in Lusaka.
In a social media post, Sista D wrote, “We were just stopped and searched by DEC officers, showing off their big guns as we headed to the Burning Spear concert.”
She expressed displeasure, stating that the reason for the search was unclear.

“I’ve traveled around the world and never seen anything like this,” she added.
Sista D emphasized that the Rastafarian movement is about peace, not violence or illegality.
“Rasta stands for peace, we don’t need these guns!” she declared.
Burning Spear, a renowned reggae artist, is celebrated for his contributions to roots reggae and his messages of social justice and African pride.
