Former Roan Member of Parliament, Chishimba Kambwili, is facing a legal suit in the Lusaka High Court from businessman Micha Ng’ombe over an alleged unpaid debt of K620,000, dating back to 2021.

In his statement of claim, Ng’ombe asserts that Kambwili borrowed the amount, promising to repay it within three months following the 2021 general elections.

However, Kambwili allegedly used the funds for personal purposes and had failed to fulfill his promise, despite multiple reassurances.

Ng’ombe further claims that he had initially requested Kambwili to deliver the money to his brother while en route to Luanshya, but the funds were misused.

Due to Kambwili’s ongoing refusal to repay, Ng’ombe said he had suffered financial hardship and is now seeking a court order for the repayment, as well as compensation for damages and inconvenience caused by Kambwili’s actions.
