Arsenal began their Premier League campaign with a confident 2-0 victory over Wolverhampton Wanderers at the Emirates Stadium on Saturday.
Germany international Kai Havertz made a strong debut, scoring the opening goal midway through the first half, assisted brilliantly by Bukayo Saka.
Wolves attempted a second-half comeback, but Arsenal’s defense remained solid, ensuring a clean sheet.

Havertz had another opportunity to double the lead but missed, while Jorgen Strand Larsen’s debut goal was denied by a stunning save from David Raya.
Gabriel Martinelli nearly extended the lead, only to be blocked by Joao Gomes after receiving a precise through ball from Declan Rice.
The Gunners continued to press for a second goal, with Thomas Partey’s shot curling off target and Havertz narrowly missing another effort shortly after the restart.
Wolves gained some momentum as the game progressed, with Matheus Cunha almost capitalising on a rare mistake by William Saliba.
However, it was Bukayo Saka who sealed the win, skillfully dribbling past Rayan Ait-Nouri and beating Jose Sa at his near post in the 74th minute.
Arsenal’s early performance suggested they are well-prepared to challenge for the Premier League title this season.
Meanwhile, Liverpool also secured a convincing 2-0 win, defeating Ipswich Town at Portman Road.
Ipswich, playing their first Premier League match since 2002, showed potential, but Liverpool proved too strong under the leadership of new manager Slot.
Diogo Jota opened the scoring for Liverpool with a composed close-range finish on the hour mark.
Mohamed Salah added to the tally just five minutes later, having assisted Jota’s goal earlier.
From that point on, Liverpool maintained control and showed no signs of letting up.
Next weekend, Liverpool would host Brentford, aiming to build on their successful start. Ipswich faces a tough challenge as they prepare to take on reigning champions Manchester City.
