FAZ Super League side Nchanga Rangers Football Club has announced the signing of two Cameroonian junior international players, Ikpeme Stephan Aniekan, and Ygor Rincesse Tsolefack, to strengthen its squad for the 2024/2025 season.
Aniekan, a holding midfielder, and Tsolefack, a defender for the Cameroon under-23 team, have signed contracts with the Konkola Copper Mine (KCM) plc-sponsored side.
Club President, Shapi Shachinda, explained to journalists in Lusaka on Wednesday that the inclusion of the two Cameroonian players was part of the technical team’s strategy to deepen the squad without making significant changes.
“We aim to prepare the team adequately and fill in the gaps that the technical bench needs to be solidified,” Shachinda stated.
Regarding the departure of Angel Lubamba to join Red Arrows on a permanent deal, Shachinda expressed gratitude for the forward’s contributions over the past three years.
“We would like to express our gratitude to Angel for his significant contribution since he joined us from City of Lusaka three years ago,” Shachinda added.
