Saboi Imboela, president of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), is seeking K1 million in damages from Levy Ngoma, Presidential Political Advisor, for alleged defamation of character.

Imboela’s legal team, Central Chambers, claims Ngoma made false and defamatory statements suggesting she had s*xual intercourse with a ghost.

The alleged statements were published on various media and social media platforms on May 30, 2024, including an article in News Diggers titled “Saboi must display her nakedness at the graveyard where ghosts are.”

Imboela’s lawyers argue that Ngoma’s statements implied she is of immoral character, unfit for public office, and engages in witchcraft and sorcery.
