Former Road Transport and Safety Agency (RTSA) boss, Zindaba Soko, has walked to freedom after the Lusaka Magistrate Court acquitted him of forging a dead man’s National Registration Card .
Soko and his co-accused, Kelvin Kisambara, were granted liberty after the State withdrew the matter pursuant to Section 88(a) of the Criminal Procedure Code.
Senior Resident Magistrate, Irene Wishimanga, acquitted the duo accordingly.

The case commenced in November, last year and the accused pleaded not guilty.
It was alleged that between January 1 and 17 this year, with intent to defraud the state, the accused allegedly forged NRC255428/10/1 in the names of John Tembo, who was reportedly dead, according to the police.
