Copperbelt Police has reportedly summoned Lufwanyama-based Catholic Priest, Andrew Mukosa, for interrogation in Ndola over unknown reasons.
According to Radio Icengelo posting on its official social media handle on Saturday, Mukosa confirmed receipt of an invitation on Saturday evening upon arrival at his Saint Joseph Mission home.

The priest narrated that two men in plain clothes delivered the summon to his Assistant Parish Priest, Joshua Mumba, at the mission while he was away.
The invitation seen by Zambia Monitor, and now making the rounds on social media platforms, showed that Mukosa was required to attend interview at the Copperbelt Division Headquarters in Ndola on Tuesday morning for the purpose of investigations.
“I wonder what this summon is about but I am not worried. I’m very free,” Mukosa said with laughter according to Radio Icengelo.
Recently, a video went viral on social media in which Mukosa, a staunch advocate of human dignity, preached on challenges affecting the nation such as load shedding, unemployment and hunger.
He was quoted to have said the challenges people were going through seemed as it was ‘Good Friday’, where people carry their ‘cross’ everyday.
