A women’s group, Young Women Christian Association (YWCA), has raised concerns about the rising incidents of sexual abuse targeting girls and women in the country.
The group’s Executive Director, Anne Anamela, urged security agencies to address the issue.
In a statement issued in Lusaka on Sunday, Anamela further said that the agencies should also investigate the purported sexual abuse of Florence Solochi by her close relations.

“The women’s movement will keenly follow this matter to its logical conclusion,” she said.
In her video, Solochi had alleged that she was sexually abused by her uncle and cousins.
