Nachula said the team assembled by the coaching staff was strong enough to record a positive result against the west Africans.
Speaking in an interview with journalists upon arrival, the Israeli based forward said the girls were determined to settle the fixture once and for all in Ghana.
“Definitely everyone in the team wants to finish the game here (Ghana) to win, so that we go back home and entertain our people. We are beating Ghana from here,” Nachula said.
Meanwhile, the Copper Queens coach said the squad was devastated to learn of the passing of striker Norin Betani.
Mwape who described Betani as a promising talent said it was sad that a player who had been invited to the provisional squad to face Ghana had passed on.
“It’s something we never expected. Looking at the player herself, I think she was a promising player, the first time we summoned her, she showed that she could be one of the best players in the team,” Mwape said.
Zambia face Ghana in a double legged Olympic qualifier with the first encounter to be played in Accra this Friday.
The second leg would be held in Lusaka next Wednesday.
