Zambian film producer, actress Handabile, listed among 100 impactful personalities in Africa

Zambian film producer and actress, Nancy Handabile, has been recognised as one of the most impactful personalities in Africa.

Online publication Ranks Africa, has named Handabile on a list of 100 most impactful people on the continent in the year 2023.

The publication named the film star who is also a media personality alongside other influential people from different parts of Africa.

“In recognition of your outstanding impact and exceptional talent, we proudly honour you, commemorating your esteemed position among the Africa 100 Most Impactful People in 2023. Your creativity, dedication and inspiring contributions have left an indelible mark on Africa and beyond” read a post on Ranks Africa’s Instagram account.

Handabile described the recognition as a humbling experience.

“To be recognised alongside different titans of this continent is an honour, l don’t take it lightly. The media Industry has opened many doors for me and for that l am always grateful. The line-up of Prominent Africans on the #Africa100 is a reminder to keep improving and creating because you never truly know who is watching.”

Africa 100 is a list of impactful Africans published by the publication on a yearly basis.

Handabile joins the likes of renowned South African comedian and television presenter, Trevor Noah, host of Big Brother Nigeria, media personality, Ebuka Obi-Uchendu and Cameroonian actress Sophy Aiida.
