Gospel rapper, Tim (formerly known as Thugga), has released his highly anticipated album to the excitement of social media communities, with fans and celebrities alike giving rave reviews.

The ex-member of rap group, Zone Fam, widely regarded as one of Zambia’s finest lyricists dropped his debut solo album on Thursday at midnight.

The project dubbed ‘Sonder’ is his first body of work since the critically acclaimed EP, Hypnosis in 2013.

The artiste, real name, Timbwama Chisenga, enlisted a star-studded line up of artistes to help him craft the 21 track project.

Notable featuring acts, alongside Tim’s sharp lyrical prowess, included gospel crooner, Abel Chungu, the ever impressive Pompi and living legends and Zambian music power couple Izrael & Nalu, Dope G and Yung Verbal.

Chef 187 and Esther Chungu also star in one of the standout songs on the project ‘Power’.

Long time collaborator from the Zone Fam days, Yung Verbal has a show-stealing verse in ‘Amen’ a song that also features rapper Jae Cash and impressive songstress Tiwah Hillz.

But of all guest appearances, the most unlikely and arguably the most entertaining is MC Wabwino, who traded his dancehall antics for a surprise rap verse on ‘Cibe Cibe’.

Former Zone Fam group mate, Jay Rox l, took to social media to praise the body of work.

“Tim – SONDER is officially out!!!! What a beautiful body of work!!! 🔥🔥🔥,” he posted on his Facebook page.

Chipolopolo striker, Patson Daka, commented on Tim’s album release post : “Worth the wait 🙏🏾🔥🔥.”

The African Eagle, Pompi also joined the array of people that gave the rapper plaudits for the piece.

“THIS IS REVIVAL🔥🔥🔥!!”.

The album boasts production credits from Mag 44, Solomon Plate, Roc Beats and J-Hun.

Tim, himself co-produced some songs on the project like ‘Judas’ where he displays his storytelling ability by writing the song from the perspective of one of Jesus Christ’s infamous disciples in the Bible, Judas Iscariot.
