Meanwhile, Zulu said the summoning of Nakacinda arose from the confusion being created by Sampa.

Zulu said following the maneouvers to have Sampa’s faction registered at the Registrar of Societies, the party did communicate that it had information of attempts to interfere with the office of the Registrar.

He said this was the information which the Police needed but that they had been advised that it could only be provided after the Central Committee meeting.

“We also did indicate that for us to have a Central Committee meeting, we do not want disruption like it happened yesterday where they brought about the confusion after police were sent to the meeting place,” Zulu said.
