In the 88th minute, a penalty was awarded to Fabio Vieira after a Video Assistant Referee (VAR) review, following a foul committed by Oliver Norwood.

Subsequently, substitute Takehiro Tomiyasu marked his first Arsenal goal by finishing from close range, putting the finishing touches on the one-sided victory.

Meanwhile, in a post-match interview, team Coach, Mikel Arteta, commended Eddie’s performance.

“For me Eddie is top level! He’s started nine of 10, that’s how much he means to me. He fully deserves it,” Arteta said.

Furthermore, Arteta said the premier league was toughest league to compete in.

“It’s the most difficult in the league. Big credit to Sheffield. Wish them the best.”

Sheffield United remained the sole Premier League team without a victory and currently resides at the bottom of the league table with just one point to their name.
