Zambia’s envoys to Confederation of African Football (CAF) competitions, Power Dynamos and FC MUZA kick off their much anticipated continental campaigns today, Saturday.
Power Dynamos would face African Stars of Namibia in a CAF Champions League preliminary stage match at Dobsonville Stadium in Johannesburg, South Africa.
On the other hand, FC MUZA who are representing Zambia in a CAF Confederations Cup encounter for the first time will be away to Cano Sport of Equatorial Guinea at Nuevo Estadio de Malabo Stadium in Malabo.
Kick off time for the Power match is at 15 hours while FC MUZA’s game in West Africa will be at 17:00 hours Zambian time.
Both matches are double legged, with the return legs to be played in Zambia in a week’s time.
If Power emerge victorious, they will book their place in the next stage of the competition where they will face Tanzanian champions Simba SC who they lost to in a friendly two weeks ago.
FC MUZA on the other hand who feature in their maiden continental outing after finishing second in the FAZ MTN Super League last season will meet Congolese club Diables Noirs.
