It is alleged that between November 19, 2019 and March 25, 2022, in Lusaka, he unlawfully and without claim of right, did convert to his use, a motor vehicle registration number GRZ 759.
When the matter came up for continuation of trial before the Lusaka Magistrate Court, State prosecutor, Malama Chisanga, asked the court to issue a bench warrant against Zulu.
“The matter is coming up for continuation of trial. However, the accused person is not before Court and we have taken into account that he was not present even in the last sitting. The sureties are also not here. May a bench warrant be issued against Kaizer Zulu and may his sureties be summoned to come to court,” Chisanga submitted.
Based on this fact, Magistrate Mwenya issued the bench warrant against Zulu and his sureties, which is renewable on August 4, 2023.
