Seven cabinet ministers have backed President Hakainde Hichilema on the redeployment of spokesperson Anthony Bwalya to Tanzania, as they condemn the alleged ethnic rhetoric being propelled by the opposition.
The alleged ethnic rhetoric came after the redeployment of presidential spokesperson, Bwalya to Tanzania.
Chief government spokesperson Chushi Kasanda regretted such ethnic remarks.
She said at a Media briefing in Lusaka on Tuesday that President Hakainde Hichilema and his administration made sure that it run an all-inclusive government in order to unite nation.
Kasanda said there was no need to make a fuss about the re- deployment of Bwalya because his relocation had nothing to do with tribe.

“Last year president Hichilema fired permanent secretary at the Ministry of Health Dr George Magwende but nobody was talking about it because he was not Bemba by tribe,” she said.
The briefing was attended by Minister of Mines Paul Kabuswe, Minister of Small and Medium Enterprises Elias Mubanga, Minister of Sports and Arts Elvis Nkandu, Minister of Technology and Science Felix Mutati, Minister of Transport and Logistics Frank Tayali, Minister of Commerce, Trade and Industry Chipoka Mulenga.
All the seven ministers uttered the same message of unity and coexistence saying tribalism had potential to reap this country apart.
“We are all Bemba Ministers here and we were appointed under the UPND ticket so where is the issue of being tribal coming from, Bemba are not superior to other tribes,” they said.
