A 34-year-old builder has pleaded not guilty to charges of having sexual intercourse with a 25-year-old man in Kabangwe area, Lusaka.
Elias Scotch Sakala appeared before Lusaka Resident Magistrate ,Kawama Mwamfuli for an unnatural offense allegedly committed on April 11, 2024.
According to the particulars of the offense, the victim had a quarrel with his mother and went to a nearby bar and sought shelter at Sakala’s home.

While on their way, the victim asked to urinate in a nearby bush, where Sakala allegedly demanded sex.
The victim reportedly complied out of fear, as Sakala is allegedly known to be violent in the community.
The accused allegedly asked for a repeat performance , but the victim refused. Sakala gave the victim K10, which he later took back when they returned to the bar.
The victim reported the incident to the police, and the trial is set to commence on June 15, 2024.
